What is Numerology?

Numerology is founded on the Pythagorean principle that the universe incorporates and obeys a system of numbers, the study of which helps us understand the world and ourselves. The numbers are energetic vibrations which identify qualities of things both physical (people, animals, material goods, etc.) and non-physical (situations, ideas, consciousness, intentions, purpose, etc.).

Numerology represents an ordered system in the universe, one of many ordered systems, much like the periodic law of listing the elements, the spectrum of colors, and the planetary system. Each system has its particular purpose in the universe, and is an approach to comprehending and experiencing reality. Once you understand how everything has a number and how it relates to your life, numerology is as normal and useful as a weather report.

Numbers are everywhere

We are surrounded by numbers, from day One.  The moment we are born, the date, hour and minute are immediately recorded, as well as our birth weight and length. Thus begins a lifetime of being defined, represented, or guided by numbers. Numbers tell us how much money we have, how to reach people by telephone, measure our food and how long to cook it, measure the temperature and all sorts of weather details, identify our exact location or destination on a particular street, indicate quantitative results in our work, provide the clinical measurements of our vital signs, and identify our myriad personal business accounts. The list is endless.

Maybe you have a lucky number. Perhaps you see patterns in numbers. Some people notice the same numbers or sets of numbers appear throughout their life. If you like numbers, you may feel attracted to numerology, but liking numbers (or mathematics) is absolutely not necessary to enjoy and benefit from numerology. The numbers are simply supplemental — and often vital — information for a vastly broader understanding of ourselves and our reality.

Numerology is not fortune telling

Numerology does not predict the future.  It's more like a report on reality: it describes the energetic flow, the vibration, and theme of any year, month, day, or even hour.  Just as we use the weather report to prepare for our day, an outing, travel, etc. we can apply numerology's "weather report" of numerology to our life to make the best choices. I'm not at all saying that you should let numerology dictate your life, but I am saying that the numbers represent the energetic values that are influencing our lives, and we can use that knowledge to our benefit.

Get in the flow with Numerology

With Numerology you learn how to really go with the flow — and that doesn't mean passively just letting life pull you along, as if you were a twig dragged down stream in a river. "The flow" is actually the energetic vibration of any particular thing, material or non-material, and this vibration has an intent, a purpose, a dominant expression. When you know what that is, you're no longer a powerless twig caught in the current, you're the captain of the ship.



My Numerology background and training

Originally, I myself was very skeptical that numerology had any substance. I thought it was just woo-woo, which I hate. Then, I received the gift of a numerology life chart and reading with Michel Kassett, one of the world’s most gifted and experienced numerologists. I was floored by Michel’s reading. It illuminated the essence of my soul, validated my deepest desires and potential, and confirmed my personal destiny in this life time. It resonated deeply.

I quickly grasped the meaning, purpose and applications of numerology, and Michel became my mentor and teacher. I trained with Michel for over 10 years before his health declined prior to his transition in 2020.
